Medicare’s annual open enrollment period marks the time of year you can join, switch, or drop aedicare Health Plan.

There are different types of Medicare health plans and some have different enrollment periods. For example, the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period is from January 1 – March 31 each year.
There are also special enrollment periods for folks with special circumstances. For example, if you change where you live, you lose your current coverage, you have a chance to get other coverage, and more.
