Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body: Improving Your Sleep

Join us to learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging.

Michael Scullin, PhD will explore the importance of sleep and tips for improving sleep hygiene. Dr. Scullin Scullin is an Associate Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at Baylor University. He completed his Ph.D. at Washington University in St. Louis and a post-doctoral fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. Scullin’s sleep research has been covered by many news agencies, including NPR, BBC Radio, Time, Fox News, and Good Morning America. He has been awarded grants from the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, and private foundations, and received early career honors from the American Psychological Association, Association for Psychological Science, and Sleep Research Society.
