Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body

FreeFor centuries, we’ve known that the health of the brain and the body are connected. But now, science is able to provide insights into how to make lifestyle choices that may help you keep your brain and body healthy as you age. Join us to learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging.

This program offers science-based recommendations about taking care of our brains and bodies. While there are currently no proven methods to prevent cognitive decline or dementia, research has shown that we can take action to reduce our risk of developing it and help maintain or potentially improve overall health.

- Being smoke-free
- Taking care of your mental health
- Getting moving Eating healthy
- Challenging yourself
- Staying connected
We’ll share stories and offer tips on how to make small changes in each of these areas to build healthier habits. Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body is designed for individuals of any age who are looking for information on ways to live well.
